The most requested routes into the Langhe
The train reaches Alba, not Barolo
The question we get most often is whether you can reach the Langhe without a car. The honest answer is half yes: trains do reach Alba, direct from Turin in about an hour and twenty minutes; from Milan you change at Asti and it takes two and a half to three and a half hours. That part works.
The problem starts afterwards. Barolo, La Morra, Monforte and Serralunga have no station at all, buses between the villages are rare, none run on Sundays, and the last stretch up to the farmhouses is almost always an unsurfaced road on a slope. That is why anyone staying in the hills, or travelling with suitcases, ends up in a car anyway. It may as well be ours, with the price already fixed.
Which door you come in by
Turin Caselle is the nearest airport: an hour and a quarter to Alba, 210 euro by sedan and 235 by minivan. Turin city is shorter still, exactly an hour. Milan and its three airports are the second door, two to two and a half hours away: Malpensa to Alba is 310 euro by sedan and 360 by minivan. From Genoa it is an hour and forty, which is the way in when you arrive by sea or along the riviera.
Fares are per vehicle, not per person: four of you or eight, the price is the same. Booking the return in the same request applies a 5% discount on the total.

Can you reach the Langhe by train?
To Alba, yes: from Turin there are direct trains in about an hour and twenty minutes, from Milan you change at Asti and it takes two and a half to three and a half hours. What if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight in real time and adjust the driver's arrival accordingly. There's no need to warn us: flight monitoring is included at no extra cost.
Will the driver take me to the door?
Yes. When booking you give the exact address or the name of your accommodation and we take you right there. Only in rare cases (narrow hill roads or difficult weather) will the driver stop at the nearest accessible point.
Is it worth booking the return at the same time?
Yes: booking the outbound and return in the same request applies a 5% discount on the total, already calculated in the price you see before confirming. On top of that the driver already knows when to collect you and the time stays locked in.
How do I pay?
Payment is made on arrival, directly to the driver, at the end of the transfer. For groups, companies or special needs just write to us and we'll find the most convenient solution together.
