The Langhe walk beautifully. The logistics do not
The ridge paths between Alba, Treiso, Cravanzana, Barolo and Barbaresco run in stages of four or five hours, with gentle climbs and a village on top of every hill. Cycling works even better: the back roads carry little traffic, and e-bikes have opened up even the steep walls of the Roero.
What is missing is everything else. There is no useful public transport between the villages, nothing at all on Sundays, and a stage that ends ten kilometres from the hotel you booked is a serious problem in walking boots. That is where we come in.
What we actually do
Luggage transfers between the overnight stops, in the morning, handed over at reception. Shuttles to the start of a stage and pick-ups at the end, timed against what is really happening rather than a timetable. Weather rescues: if the storm arrives mid-stage, you call and we come. Airport transfers to the first hotel and from the last one back, which is the piece that makes a whole car-free itinerary possible.
Bringing your own bikes needs a note at booking: we carry them dismantled in the minivan, and for larger groups we run a separate vehicle for the equipment.
For tour operators
Part of our work comes from foreign agencies selling walking or cycling weeks in the Langhe who need somebody on the ground to make the days work. If you are a tour operator, this is how we work.
- One named contact for the whole season, same number, same person answering.
- Rates agreed at the start of the season per leg and per service, valid across every departure.
- Invoicing to the agency, monthly or per group, with an Italian VAT number.
- Recurring programmes: the same luggage transfers every week on the same days, without reconfirming each one.
- Coverage across the Langhe, the Alta Langa, the Roero and the links to Turin, Milan, their airports and Genoa.

How much luggage can I bring?
Each passenger can count on one large suitcase and one piece of hand luggage. If you have extra bags, ski gear or sports equipment, note it when booking and we'll arrange the right vehicle.
Will the driver take me to the door?
Yes. When booking you give the exact address or the name of your accommodation and we take you right there. Only in rare cases (narrow hill roads or difficult weather) will the driver stop at the nearest accessible point.
Which areas do you cover?
We are at home in the Langhe (Alba, Barolo, La Morra, Monforte d'Alba, Barbaresco, Neive) and connect the area with Turin and its Caselle airport, Milan and the Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo hubs, Genoa, the main ski resorts and a few destinations in France.
What if the weather is bad, especially in the mountains?
Our drivers know the hill and mountain roads well and drive regularly in winter. Vehicles travel with suitable tyres and chains on board. In extreme conditions we contact you to find the best solution together.
Can I stop along the way?
Yes, short stops along the route are possible: note it when booking or tell the driver directly. For longer stops a small additional cost may apply, always agreed in advance.
How do I pay?
Payment is made on arrival, directly to the driver, at the end of the transfer. For groups, companies or special needs just write to us and we'll find the most convenient solution together.
